3. so here is how it is done
4. download powerISO
5. download the file from this link using utorrent
6. open power iso
7. at the top go to tools, virtual drive, set number of drives, 1 or 2 or 3 or 4, however many 'ISO' files came with the sims 3 download
8. then go back to tools, virtual drive, and click 'mount drive'
9. find the ISO (i'm going to assume there is only 1) and double click that
10. you now have the computer thinking you have a disc inside your disc drive
11. go to computer, you should see the drive with the disc 'mounted' on it there, not in c: or whatever, just right there in 'my computer'
12. double click that
13. make sure you know where it is installing it to, since that is where you will be going to run the game
14. follow the instructions you should be running the installer, if double clicking did not work, right click the drive, click open or explore, and find the executable file in there and double click that to run it
15. during installation, or at some point after, it will ask for a 'key', or a registration number, or whatever.
16. inside the original sim3 file you downloaded from that link should be a notepad, or whatever, that has a bunch of serial numbers (usually XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, you'll know it when you see it)
17. put that in and the game is registered and can be run.
18. now go to wherever you installed it to, enter the bin folder, and find 'ts3.exe', make a shortcut of that, and put that shortcut on the desktop.
19. message me with any problems you encounter and tell me in excrutiating detail what has gone wrong and exactly what you have done.
